ATTESTATION TENANT LIEU DE PASSPORT
The High Commission of the Gabonese Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is concurrently accredited to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Republic of Ireland and Finland. In that respect, the High Commission is competent in dealing with any Tenant Lieu de Passeport application from these countries.
Laissez-Passer/Tenant Lieu de Passeport is a legal travel document issued in lieu of passport by the High Commission to Gabonese nationals in the absence of a passport or a valid passport in order to allow them to return to Gabon. This document is valid for seven (7) days from its issuance date.
Requirements:
- A Cover letter addressed to the High Commissioner (should include your full name, occupation, contact details and Email(s))
- A proof of the applicant Gabonese nationality:
Copy of the Consular Card (if available), passport, national identity card or driving licence
- A proof of address in your country of residence no older than 3 months :
Copy of utility bill (electricity, gas, etc…), Council Tax etc..
*For non-residents: evidence of temporary accommodation (Hotel booking) or invitation letter from your host
- A Photocopy of the flight ticket
- Two (2) current passport-size photographs
- For minors: Copy of the Birth Certificate, Adoption Certificate, Guardianship Order, Power of Attorney, etc..

If the applicant wishes to receive the Laissez-Passer/Tenant de passeport by post:
- For applicant residing in the UK: a prepaid self-addressed envelope (Royal Mail Special Delivery) is required.
- For applicant residing outside of the UK (only accredited countries): please arrange postal service with an International Courier Company (UPS, DHL, Parcelforce, etc…)
Application Processing time: Five (5) working days.
