HOW TO APPLY FOR A VISA
Apply for visas by completing an application form and submitting it to the Gabonese High Commission in person or by post. If by post, a prepaid self-addressed envelope is required to have the passport returned (Royal Mail Special Delivery Envelop).
NB: The High Commission of the Gabonese Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is concurrently accredited to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Republic of Ireland and the Finland. In that respect, the High Commission is in position to deal with any Tourism/Business visa application from these countries.

Requirements:
- A passport/travel document which must be valid for another six months from the date you arrive in Gabon and its copy. For non-British nationals, a proof of immigration status is required (e.g. UK Resident Permit, Settled Status, and visa etc…)
- A proof of immigration status:
- For non-British nationals residing in the UK (Resident Permit, Settled Status, and visa etc…)
- For non- Swedish nationals residing in Sweden
- For non-Danish nationals residing in Denmark
- For non-Irish nationals residing in the Republic of Ireland
- For non-Finnish nationals residing in Finland
- For non-Norwegian nationals residing in Norway
- A Mission Order/assignment letter from the press/media company based in the UK or accredited countries.
- Two (2) current passport-sized photos (in colour)
- A visa application form duly completed
- An invitation letter from the Gabonese authority/company based in Gabon detailing purposes of the trip
- A filming permission (if applicable)
- An official accreditation letter from the Gabonese Ministry of Communication
- A proof of accommodation: Hotel reservation confirmation letter, etc….
- A copy (in colour) of a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate
- A proof of address no older than 3 months in your country of residence.
Acceptable proof of address:
Copy of a utility bill (electricity, gas etc.), Council Tax, bank statement and others - A proof of travel: a confirmed return ticket to Gabon

If the applicant wishes to receive the passport by post:
- For applicant residing in the UK: a prepaid self-addressed envelope (Royal Mail Special Delivery) is required
- For applicant residing outside of the UK (only accredited countries): please arrange postal service with an International Courier Company (UPS, DHL, Parcelforce, etc…)
The Gabonese Ministry of Communication is the only authority to issue the document called “Autorisation de tournage” (filming permission).
