Life Certificate

The High Commission of the Gabonese Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is concurrently accredited to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Republic of Ireland and Finland. In that respect, the High Commission is competent in dealing with any application of Life Certificate from these countries.

 

Requirements:

  1. A cover letter addressed to the High Commissioner providing the reason for submission
  2. A completed and signed “Document Life Certificate Request Form”
  3. A photo ID is required:
  • For Gabonese citizens: Passport, Consular Card, National Identity Card or Driving licence
  • For non-nationals: Passport
  1. A Proof of address in your country of residence no older than 3 months
    Acceptable proof of address:
    A copy of utility bill (electricity, gas etc.), Council Tax, a bank statement etc…
  1. For an annual renewal of your state pension:
    • Copy of a recent payment slip of quarterly benefits from pensions plans received from the CNSS, CNGS receipt of pensions or copy of your latest bank statement (showing payment by the Gabonese National Social Security Fund (Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale))
  2. Administrative fees: (cash only)
  • Free for Gabonese nationals
  • £70.00 (non-nationals)

 

Please Note: Physical attendance is mandatory at the High Commission for the Certificate Withdrawal.

In case of an illness, the concerned will have to provide a sickness Certificate to the High Commission and arrange a video call with an officer from the Diplomatic Mission in order to confirm the applicant’s identity.
