HOW TO APPLY FOR A VISA
Apply for visas by completing an application form and submitting it to the Gabonese High Commission in person or by post. If by post, a prepaid self-addressed envelope is required to have the passport returned (Royal Mail Special Delivery Envelop).
NB: The High Commission of the Gabonese Republic to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland is concurrently accredited to Sweden, Denmark, Norway, the Republic of Ireland and the Finland. In that respect, the High Commission is in position to deal with any Tourism/Business visa application from these countries.
Tourist Visa
- A valid passport/travel document which must be valid for another six months from the date you arrive in Gabon and its copy.
- A proof of immigration status:
- For non-British nationals residing in the UK (Resident Permit, Settled Status, and visa etc…)
- For non- Swedish nationals residing in Sweden
- For non-Irish nationals residing in the Republic of Ireland
- For non-Finnish nationals residing in Finland
- For non-Norwegian nationals residing in Norway
- Two (2) current passport-sized photos (in colour)
- A visa application form duly completed
- Proof of accommodation in Gabon:
- Hotel reservation confirmation letter (booked and paid)
- Copy of the travel itinerary from the tour operator (if applicable).
- Proof of activity in the UK and accredited countries:
- Workers: Employment Certificate/Letter, signed by the Employer (including position, start of employment, salary, etc…);
- Self-employed: Copy of the last two-month payslips and a copy of the Company Registration Certificate of the company based in the UK (for business owner).
- Students: Official letter from the school, college, university, or proof of enrolment for the entire upcoming school year.
- Copy (in colour) of a valid yellow fever vaccination Certificate
- Proof of sufficient funds to cover the costs of stay in Gabon: (copy of the latest two bank statements)
- Proof of address in the UK and accredited countries: copy of a current utility bill or Council Tax, ..
- Proof of travel: a confirmed return flight ticket to Gabon

Journalist Visa

- You must hold a valid Diplomatic passport (at least 6 months up to its date of expiration) and its
